What are Core Support?
Core Supports are supports recognised by the NDIS that enables an individual to complete activities of daily living. Whilst they are aimed at meeting current disability-related needs for an individual; Core Supports are also equally focused on working towards and achieving personal goals and objectives such as Community Participation.
Maple Community Services™ offers a whole host of Core Supports to our community. These include:
Core Supports delivered by Maple.
Maple Community Services can assist you with tasks around your home such as Cleaning, Laundry, Meal Preparation, Caring for Independents, Banking, Shopping, Yard Maintenance and so much more.
Travel and Transport.
Maple Community Services will assist with transporting you too and from wherever it may be needed or desired, whether it be for appointments or pleasure. Students may also be transported to and from school.
Development - Life Skills.
Developing Life Skills is all about building your confidence and enabling you to live independently by developing a plan which gives you the training you would need to achieve your goals. Supports we provide in this area include educating on personal hygiene, maintaining a clean environment at home, and organisational skills to name a few.
Maple Community Services can assist you in accessing and participating in the community by guiding, mentoring, supporting, and motivating you to succeed and reach set goals. This includes everything from grabbing a coffee at the local Café, going for a walk on the beach, visiting the park, going to the movies, and much more.
Maple’s goal is to assist you to live as independently as possible whether you are in a group home setting or living in your own home. Our Support Workers will assist you with personal activities such as Morning Routines, Personal Hygiene, Daily Tasks (e.g. eating, drinking bathing), helping you attend appointments, and much more.
Maple Community Services' average turn around time for new clients is 1 week.
